MillBridge Marlins Swim Team

2024 marks the 10th year of the MillBridge Marlins. We honored our 10 year members at the Spaghetti Dinner. Each swimmer received a Golden 10 Year Bag Tag AND a 10 Year Member towel!

This year's recipients were Molly Bass (10 yrs), Abigail Smith (11 yrs), Raegan Sherril (11 yrs), Lauren Gemignani (10 yrs), and Marlie Weiss (10 yrs).

We honored our amazing Announcer Derek Smith for his 10 years as the MillBridge Marlins' Announcer.  Derek is the best in the business and we are so glad he is ours!

The Millbridge Marlins are a 501(c)(3) non-profit neighborhood swim team for the Millbridge Community in Waxhaw, NC. The Marlins were founded in 2014 and are a member of the Greater Charlotte Swim League and compete against other neighborhood swim teams in the area.

The MillBridge Marlins is a summer league team with children aged 5-18.  Our coaching staff work with swimmers of all abilities and work on correct stroke technique in all four strokes, swimming skills like dives and turns, and improving endurance.  Our coaches and staff emphasize teaching the value of sportsmanship and team spirit.  Meets are a fun family event and all are welcome.  The Marlins' season runs from Mid-May through end of June.  Thank you to all of our families that help throughout the season and a special thanks to the MillBridge Community.
